Birthday Bash!!!!

Ok so what do 5 eight year olds at a sleep over equal????? ONE TIRED MOM!!!! (jk, anyone that actually knows me , knows I live for this stuff.) SO here was the ajenda.... We made pizzas, bedazzled t shirts, decorated cookies, made ice cream sundaes, made gift bags, opened presents and then popped popcorn and watched Nancy Drew!!!! GOTA LOVE BEING YOUNG!!!

BUSTED!!

This dog has turned into such a little rat, and a scavenger. Every time I enter a room if the kids have left any food . He's gotten to it. When I went upstairs he had is face actually stuck in this cheeto bag and he was in heaven.

Both of them were nervous for the boy to do their nails, so Zoe went with the lady. The funny thing is this nice man was actually very nice and the lady couldn't speak english; so when she wanted Zoe to move her hand or hold still shed swat her fingers. IT was hysterical.

You Say Its Your Birthday!!!

Well the day has only started, but I wanted to make sure and spotlight this girl!!! Bailey is eight today, eight!!! Where in the world did the time go!!! Last night we had a party at my moms house where we ate her favorite foods- artichokes, mashed potatoes, and broccoli, oh and cheesecake factory cheesecake- Then we woke up this morning for presents and her favorite breakfast -german pancackes!!! Her best friend Zoe has the same birthday so the girls wore matching outfits to school and I surprised them both at lunch with cake and balloons.!! This afternoon the two are going to the nail spa, then dinner of choice!! Birthdays to me should be celebrated like crazy!!!!! It's once a year so her dad will get over the amt . of money and time I obsess over this little celebration.. Kids are only kids so long and then they grow up and then we refuse to celebrate our birthdays!! SO today we will LIVE it up and EAT CAKE as much as we want!!!

END OF AN ERA!!

Ok, so I knew the day would come eventually that michael would abandon us, I had just hoped that it would be like when the kids turn 18??? Not so fun for a 21 yr. old to live with a house full of crazies??? He is heading back to vermont and boy am I going to miss him. He saved my life helping with the kids this past year, they will be lost without him too!!!!

Busy Day!!!

So Baileys' dance competition went well. If you notice in the orange shirts what a puny pants she is compared to the other girls in her class.

So I have only 2 kids, and let me tell you the running around gets crazy!!!Yet i LOVE it!! But I did realize today that 2 kids with different events requires 2 different cameras, so I may have to purchase an additional digital camera. Listen keep this on the down low theres a certain man in my life that is anti spending x a bajillion!!! So today Cannon and Bailey both had soccer games at 0900, bailey had a dance competition that lasted all day starting at 1000 and had to leave to join her friends at a birthday party!! Good times.. I was still able to fit in a little trip to the gym to run which was quickly cancelled out by my two chocolate chip cookies and picking at the cookie dough oh, and a handful of 'mike and ikes'.. my goal is to at least maintain the chubbiness!!!!

A sign of Spring, I hope....

So tonight we started soccer games!! It was freezing!!! I remember last year we were in tx on the first day of spring soccer and we were dying because it was 98 degrees in April. Well, 26 degrees aint to shabby!!!

Vegas...

They were allowed to eat whatever they wanted... sleep wherever they wanted

stay out as late as they wanted (cannon never makes it past 8, he's quite the party animal)
And do whatever they wanted...
And swim all day , if they wanted....

Of all the places to take your Kids!!! Bailey has been asking to go to Vegas forever... So for her spring break we told her we would go wherever she wanted and do whatever she wanted for an entire week.. Of course she chose VEGAS...It turned in to a bit of a debacle??? We stayed at a suite at the RIO which was nice.. However it got really windy one day and our window on the top floor came unsealed and then all night long the wind howled, so we changed rooms. We went to the pool and came back to the room and the water wasn't working.. so we changed rooms.. We decided to go see the dolphins at the mirage and we we got there it was closed.. So we decided to go see the pirate show at Treasure Island, the weather got bad so they cancelled it.... Well, needless to say the swimming, buffets and amusement park at circus circus still kept the kids stating it was a fun time!!! ( i wouldn't recommend taking kids to vegas in the future...) When we were on the streets at night and people were lining up to pass you out a "brochure for dancers", and the ground was covered with these pics I kept telling Bailey to look up, look toward heaven... Oh well , cross that off our destination list!!!

OK- So if you know Bailey you will know she is quite the little perfectionist. She can't disobey a rule, she likes structure, she is so not me.... When she first started dance at 2 1/2 she was very maticulous about getting each step right. On stage one day a little girl next to her stopped dancing to chase a feather that had come out of their costumes, bailey caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of her eye and told her to "knock it off". She was three at the time. Well, she has continued dance over the last 5 yrs and joined the performing team at LaShars. So here is last months performance...

Easter Egg hunt

Here is my tip to all who may have the idea to go to Thanksgiving point next year at Easter!!! RESIST!!!! We spent an hour in line to get in.. It cost eight dollars a person, and then we waited in line for a balloon all day and got 2 smartie filled eggs. It was pathetic!!!! However my kids were happy so we'll over look the negative details....

ok this is my poor Cannon. Here is the story..... Chris took the kids skiing to Beaver, well that happens daily, but this was closing day. Cannon had taken off his goggles and the reflection of the sun on to the snow burnt him so bad his face was swollen. It was heartbreaking, and needless to say I was furious.!! When we showed Cannon himself in the mirror he started to cry and said, "Where did I go, this doesn't look like my face??" We all know these kids of mine are so white they glow in the dark. Chris is a great dad who got pre occupied with ski jumping and not with sunscreen.



So, all who care may have realized i have dropped off the face of the blogging earth... Our wireless internet has not worked for months and it is killing me !! So here at work, like the dedicated and hard working employee that I am, I am posting a brief update. D/T my first two days off in forever I am hoping to have time to get this worked out. !!!
